What happened in the streets?
Reclaim the Power organised hundreds of people traveling from the UK to take part in what had been planned to be a day of mass civil disobedience in the final days of the summit. The French government tried to ban our ?#Redlines action under the State of Emergency - but we carried on organising, training and generating momentum. Eleven cyclists from the activist network Reclaim The Power stopped off to chat to local campaigners in Longridge. Lancs and Hebden Bridge, Yorks today. The group set off from the anti fracking protest that has been holding a week of workshops and direct action next to the proposed new fracking site outside of Blackpool. They'll reach Hull on Saturday to join those resisting the fracking exploration sites in West Newton and Crawberry Hill, East Yorkshire.

Campaigners from the Reclaim the Power camp at Blackpool are this morning occupying the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) in London, following the release of a government report released last week containing 63 redactions on the potential impacts of shale gas exploration on rural communities. The Metropolitan Police are already onsite at DEFRA.
